Sayaka trained in dog grooming and animal nursing in Nagoya, Japan, and has groomed professionally in Sydney since 2004, including Best in Show at Sydney Royal grooming in 2013.
She is specialised in scissoring and passionate about making your pooches cute and beautiful.

Scissored Paws is based on Pittwater Rd in Manly (2095), serving the Northern Beaches and surrounding suburbs with care and craft.
Plenty of street parking right outside, and it's about a 15 minute walk to Manly Beach if you'd rather stretch your dog's legs before or after the groom.

Everything you need to know before your first visit to Scissored Paws.
Fill out our booking form and we'll confirm within one business day. Drop-off is between 8am and noon. Prefer to talk it through? Call us on 02 9976 6744 or message us on WhatsApp at 0430 493 464. We do accept walk-ins, but bookings are preferred as some days get too busy to take on drop-ins.
Every coat is different, so we quote per pet rather than off a menu. Send us a photo when you book and we'll confirm a price before the appointment. No surprises at pick-up.
No. We believe cats deserve calm, patient grooming without sedation.
Matted coats need careful handling. If mats are too tight, we'll clip short for your pet's welfare and comfort. We're honest about what's best for the coat, not just what looks good.
Tuesday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm, Saturday 8am to 12pm. Closed Sunday, Monday, and public holidays.
