December is always the busiest month of the year at the salon. Everyone wants their dog or cat looking sharp for family visits, holiday photos, and Christmas Day itself, and the diary fills up fast.
Book early to get the date you want
Scissored Paws is a small, one-groomer-finished salon, so the number of appointments we can fit each week is limited. The days right before Christmas are always the first to go, often weeks in advance.
If your pet is due for a groom in December, book now rather than waiting until the calendar is full.
When to get in
- Regular groomers: if your pet is on a 6–8 week cycle, lock in your usual slot as soon as it opens up.
- New to the salon: the earlier in December you can come in, the more flexibility we’ll have on times.
- Cat grooms: cat appointments are appointment-only and quieter by design, so these fill just as fast.
